It's not a sensor issue. HP Tuners does not have the appropriate tables within their software. Vermont custom built their tables, using a different tuning interface. I believe they used EFI Live, but I could be wrong on that. Hopefully someone can chime in and confirm or deny my guess.

He used EFI Live to make his tables.

Interesting discovery: there's a tune posted up on the HPT tune repository for a 2016 Chevy Cruze that has flex fuel enabled. The reason this is interesting is because that model uses the same E80 as our vehicels (&E80A). The description of the tune says "stock tune" but from what i understand, Chevy did not make the Cruze flex fuel capable.
So I wonder what's the story here. I know BNR was offering a flex fuel kit for the Cruze which implies they got the ECM to work - maybe this is one of those tunes.
Anyone know of a dude with the handle "07LSJ"?
I'm going to experiment with comparing the tunes...

Like I said, it's not an ECU issue, it's an HPT issue. Just because the Cruze uses the same hardware doesn't mean they didn't get completely different software with different tables available, but inactive.

Yes you're correct, but that isn't my point. By evaluating the differences in the OS (byte comparison) we can possibly do a segment swap (or more accurately a direct edit of the binary) and enable the correct tables. The "write entire" function allows a full overlay of the OS.

And in this case, the OS's actually are the same.

I'm still relearning my old ildasm and hex editing skills, but I'll find the core differences.

It's more an available PIN issue then anything else the PIN for E85 isn't available physically. It's being taken up by some other crap.

At this stage of the game that is the only "flex" fuel option.
The only other hope would be someone figuring out a second OS
(ghost OS) over the top, (same sorta idea dekes1 seems to be exploring) 98% sure that is how TRIFECTA avoids incremental write counts,.. OR .., HPTuners gets off their AZZ..
Thank you. Been a long few weeks...

Anyone else immediately get their hopes up when they see this thread bumped, hoping the recent poster will have said "HPTuners is now supporting..."?

I die a little inside every time I open this.
