As far as the tune goes, have you guys used a canned tune or specific to your car?
Given the mods you listed, a canned type tune would be just fine I'd think.

Let me be frank; in comparison to a custom tune by a Pro like the OP got (Matt Sorian), canned tunes suck.

Get a custom tune if you can, at all costs. There's no advantage to a canned tune which are worse in every way...power, reliability, and if there's something wrong with your car, you'll never know, unlike a custom tune where the tuner will sit down with your car and see everything going on.

To get the most out of the car a tune by Sorian or pro for sure.

How ever the eforce tune drove fine on my wife's car. I had always heard bad stuff and power left on the table.

We took it to powerfab it did exactly what it claimed 551 to the wheels on there driveline 3x times in a role at operating temp no cool downs. On there dynojet 581 then we did a custom tune no gains at all samenities afrs. Now she has headers intake and custom tune.. and to put to bed the rest that custom tunes run fat negitive the afrs where perfect. I know one of the big nam es like calloway or saleen is writing them but cant remember.

It's cool that they offer to pick up the rest of the 3 year or remanded of the 36k miles warranty but we broke that be doing headers, intak, and tune.. we are about to the 36 with no problems on that car after All girls did the work and edelbrock supplied the blower.

I am very happy with them. I had most of my parts installed at Blackjack Speed Shop (they actually have a cammed ZL1 tuned by JMS), then they transported it JMS for custom tuning. JMS does lots of LT4s, and has done several ZL1s specifically. Check out their Facebook and Instagram if you have them (JMS Racing).

Exactly. Right on the money. I will also add, a tune limited only to a dyno is not a true custom tune. Chose a tuner who will do a street and dyno tune. You do not drive your car on a dyno, the only way to dial a tune in to your car and your mods is if the tuner spends time driving on the street. Otherwise you leave efficiency, drivability and most likely HP on the table.
