folks below 35° lattitude...while it's great that you can come into the forum and describe how great your summer tires are in the winter, it doesn't help anyone living in the 70% of the rest of the U.S. that actually have a winter.

For those of you looking to run an alternate setup, I found these cool wheel
hangers on Amazon instead of the traditional tire rack. However I didn't trust
the hardware that was supplied with it so I upgraded to 3/8" diameter lag bolts
with washers to be sure.

Nice.
Looks better than the typical tire rack since you can see the wheels, more like art work, tucks up closer to the wall as well.

Might not be a bad idea to put a sheet of plexiglass between the tires and wall to keep the tire black/dirt off the white paint.

What was the price? They're currently unavailable on Amazon so no price is shown.

Back to the OP question, I think PS4s is the way to go for a street tire to replace the G3. They even have a 15K mile warranty with a staggered setup. From Tire Racks test comments they were very impressed in all categories.

Check out this guy videos testing his GT350 with PS4s in 25 degrees (he doesn't recommend it) and in rain using 305s in the front and 325s in the rear.

PS4s Below 32 review:

Love the B in your garage! I had a red '63. Loved it. Looked great, before they U.S.'d it with ride height and rubber bumpers.

Stock 1LE tires are terrible in anything other than perfect conditions. This is coming from someone who has run dedicated winter setup for almost a decade.

Given that I love the 1LE rims, I replaced the stock tires with Michelin AS3+. Yes, they lack in ultimate dry grip but I'm not here to break any records. I wanted to have a fun vehicle to drive year around.

I'd vote for AS3+ hands down. They're by far the best all-season tires that I've ever owned.

What size did you use on the back? The 285/30/20 will only fit a 10.5 inch rim.

Summer tires for the winter. Winter tires for the winter. Screw all-season.

If it's the correct answer for our specific conditions, then just read the location and move to the next post. No need to preach, it's actually accurate for us.

I just bought a set of these that I am planning to put on next week. Fronts are 285/30/20, rears are 285/35/20 which are supposed to fit an 11 inch wheel.

Front: 285/30/20
Rear: 285/35/20 -> they fit the rims and local tire shop had no qualms about it.

The car feels so much easier to drive in sub-40 degree weather.
