Better hurry, once Mike gets his taller tires and then he can hopefully put down the 1150 rwhp, he should be the first to get there. He also has to get the tranny worked out with that much hp. He ran 9.64@152 with 950 rwhp but couldn't put the power down with the 26" tall tire with 1150hp. You've make some serious progress in the last 12 months so I have no doubt you'll get there next year at some point.

I am convinced it will take a G-force rear with a 3.23 or 3.42 gear and a 28"-30" tire to put all these cars have to the ground. I would have to do the math so see what 7K in 5th would be at 155 mph or so. Along with all the other stuff. You have got to figure that you need to get there in 5th. I think the minimum mph for 8's will be 154ish. So that 60ft will need to be in the low 1.3's to high 1.2's.

I am going to have to pull the motor when I have time and fix the head bolt. While it is out I am going to put new stock pistons in it and re-flycut. I may also alter my cam a bit. I am for sure throwing a 0* phaser limiter in it. I am going to throw an U/D pulley at the same time. I will probably re-port the heads while they are off as well. I may step up to my STG 4 cam but I am not sure. I still daily this thing. But the goals is 9's. We will see.

Another thing people dont really take into account is the 10-15mph headwind. One of my race cars back in the day would run 11.6-11.7@120-121 constantly. One track outing I went to the track with a headwind ranging between 12-16mph. The whole it day I couldn't run better then a 12.0@116. Went back the following weekend no headwind 11.6-11.7@120-121

Stage 2 is a beast!!! Cant wait to see Stage on the hunt!!!
