My air freshener melted my vent! Where to get a new one?
So, I had one of those dumb air fresheners that you clip onto the vent. I had the heat up all the way and later that day noticed that my actual vent/knob had melted! :(

Man that sucks! I stopped using those things. Especially the ones with the liquid inside. I had one leak on some trim in one of my other vehicles, and it melted away the finish. Try http://gmpartsdirect.co

I image if you look around you will start finding them in bone yards. Carpart, autopart searches would be a good start.

I left a 'normal' (read old school) air freshener hanging on the console of my Kia over the summer (winter car)... Imagine my surprise when I noticed the air freshener melted into (had to literally peal it off) the side of the console...it now needs to be replaced; looks like someone took a torch to it ��...never again
