Return to stock exhaust?
I currently have an X pipe to straight pipe but it drones a lot and honestly makes me want to go back to a quiet car. I don’t have the stock resonator but I have everything after that. Could I get the stock muffler reinstalled after the x pipe and have it sound like it originally did? Or is there any better options?

Even with the stock muffler it's gonna sound somewhat different with the x-pipe. How much so who knows

It'll sound different but will be much quieter and possibly no drone. Might be the sound level you're looking for. Do you have stock npp or dual tip?

The straight pipe is the cause of the drone, the x-pipe gives a slightly higher pitched exotic car sound. Ditch the straight pipe and lose the drone.
