The UPS guy just dropped off some goodies!

Got my Apex scoop and washer bottle, a strong MAF from APEX and tow hook from a user on here from JDP. Gonna be a busy weekend. Little intimidated about taking the fron bumper off. I guess we'll see how it goes.

Why are you removing the front bumper? For the tow hook?

If not the tow hook, you dont need to remove the bumper for the scoop/washer bottle.

Fun weekend. I haven't taken my bumper off, but my buddy has done it several times to his '10 2SS/RS. Doesnt seem to be a big deal. I watched the other day. Only thing is I don't think he takes time gettitng it lined back up when he puts it back. So there might be a tiny gap where the side markers are. I think if you take your time and have a helper you'll be fine.

What is the tow hook for? And if your putting on a tow hook I would think you would want it on the back so you could tow Mustangs home.

Thank you for your order. Be sure to let us know what you think once you get it installed.

if you've ever been to a track then you would know, its to keep them from ripping the front bumper off when you break, and also some people like to tow back to the pits to cool the car down faster

Yea most tracks require a tow hook for track days.

Thanks for the answer, I figured there was a reason for it. I have been to the track a few times and did not do to bad considering I am only going for fun and to see what I could do. I guess I never paid attention to the tow hooks.
OP, please post a pic when your done. Curious to see where it goes.
