Hey jerry,
Will this also work on a 2012 v6. I think the hood is the same just wondering about clearance issues

Yes I am pretty sure there would be no issues. There have been plenty of guys on this thread that have completed this and they had V6 cars.

I just did this, and i have some uneven spots all the way around. The back side doesn't sit flush, but the front does. And the middle bracing is sucking the hood down. Any thoughts?

My initial install did this too. The hole was a little too tight. I also did not like the foam tape. It made it sit too high, so I removed it. I used black silicone to seal it to the hood. I also did not like the cross bracing as it warped the hood a little. I made a new underside aluminum sheet and use that to mount everything. See my post: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...ternate+method
I've also used Riv-nuts to attach the rain tray.
Good luck, Rich

Hole too small is the 1st thing to come to mind for the uneven results Derek 1387 is getting. That should be verified 1st.

I thought the hole may be too small as well...but it drops in very very easily and can actually slide around a hair if need be. But I'll double check!

Is it possible for you to have those mounts made? That's a perfect way to attach the extractor. Also did you use a dremel or an air saw?
