26 vs 28" Tires
Anyone out there running a 26 inch drag radial vs the 28 inch slick with an aftermarket converter without any traction issues? I'm currently running a Hoosier drag radial 315/35/17 (25.8 diameter) on a FBO/ E85, A8. Car leaves hard, and I don't have any traction issues right now, but I'm in the process of putting a converter in the car, and I was just wondering if anybody was running the shorter tire with a converter without any traction issues?

With the converter you are going to have traction issues no matter what. I have to be very careful with the launch on my 28's. You really can't get any more tire back there than what I am running. If I actually try to use the converter as designed it just blows the tires off.

Keep the 26 if you can. Only way to find out is to try it!

Going to go ahead and pull the trigger and do the 15'' rear conversion and stay on the 26'' slick/radial with more sidewall. Hopefully that works

Anyone guess what it's worth on a m6? I pulled the trigger on some rear wheels and thinking 26 but the 28s look way better
