why does our rear view mirror not tint like the driver side mirror? all my other GM vehicles do. whats the deal?

if you have the auto dimming option, it will do the driver side and rear view
and I see you have a 2SS which this is standard

how do i know if i have the auto dimming option? my driver side mirror auto tints so i assume i have that option?

I'm guessing the 'none-autodimming' will have a tab manually tilt it.

As long as you dont have the little flip that tilts the mirror, it should auto dim

EDIT: wait, you have a 17 SS 1LE, those were 1SS, you dont have it (Sorry your name confused me)...what do you have?

no i have a 17 2SS. it does not have the little tab to tilt it

Then your mirror should auto dim. Might be defective.

thanks, i hate having to take my car in for service. you think there could be a setting in the screen that might need to be on?
