To say the 5th gen is getting stale is ridiculous!! These cars are the best looking Camaros since the 69 and 70 1/2 IMO.

The only ones that will be stale are the ones not being taken care of..

I'm not saying the 5th gen doesn't need to end, because it does, it is time, and I'm sure they have something that will be Kick Ass!! No way will they let the 6th gen be a flop, not with the crew they have working for them..

We are talking about a crew that just gave us:

LT's with and without RS
SS's with and without RS
1LE
ZL1
COPO
Z/28

With all that hard work do any of you think they will let that flame die out at this point? Especially with the Alpha? No way in hell. They know exactly what they are doing and I'm sure have been working on it for a couple years now..
No love for LS, 1LS, and 2LS.

I am looking forward to the launch of the new camaro and think its timing is right on. It allows them to leak data along the way and steal or stall competition sales until they can check out this car. When I look at the shared platform and shared development dollars to cover that cost and the performance bins that the camaro can pull from, leads me to believe that gen 6 will be the better all around car against its competition.

Its definitely time for it since they messed up the refresh. GM's doing so much better in the performance division with the Vette and Cadillac so at least mechanically I know its going to be a big improvement.

This generation they hit on a good exterior design, promoted it with a hit movie and were able to get away with less than optimal performance in the LS/LT and SS.

When 6th gen is launching in late 2015/early 2016 the 5th gen have been on the market 6-7 years - I thinks its a fair time to every lover of the 5th gen to get their loved car before the new gen launches.

Im really looking forward to the new gen. I love the 5th gen look and once the new gen will be offically unveiled I can still hurry to get one of the last 5th gen cars if it really happens that I dislike the new look

I'm not happy either. And if it looks anything like the pics I've seen, it's going to look awful!

I don't care what the C6 will look like. My 2010 SS is a keeper.

Trust me,.. the Stang has been stale for quite awhile now.

Painfully stale imho.

I really hope it's more than just shrinking the Gen 5 down to the Alpha platform. As much as I like the current car, it needs to be changed.

I'm sure it will be changed enough to recognize it as a different generation.

But will it be an all new revolutinary design? Who knows. Not me. The magazines don't seem to think so, but I don't trust much of what I read about design at this point.
