Yes. It's a Glock 17 with the Salient Arms Tier 1 package, RMR cut with RM06, tungsten grey cerakote, and the TiN barrel.
I like this guy, good taste in guns and cars. Yes of course there will always be a crowd who contests the young guys with the expensive things. Just be sure not to let it dig ya too much. You and your new friend have a pair of bitchin' fast cars. Hell even the old guard when in their younger days probaby wouldn't turn down a big block on slicks from their parents. The concept hasn't changed; young guys fast cars. The biggest difference nowadays is the amount of $$$ it takes to do so.

Holy carp did any of that make sense? I might be drunk as shit.

Just because I love being right, here is a picture of their garage from May 31, 2013 at 4:24 P.M. This is when they had a Gallardo LP-570-4 Spyder Performante and a QuatroPorte before they got the Hurucan and GranTurismo MC. My friend used to play tennis at his house all the time back in high school and had this saved on his phone. Now go to sleep and so you're ready for your 8-5 job tomorrow at $20 an hour. Goodnight

I'm with you! My first car was a 1968 Chevelle, I worked for a year to save up the $800 to buy it. I wouldn't wish that car on anyone else..lol.. I wish I was as lucky as the OP. I can't understand why it bothers people to see someone else doing well.

To the OP - congrats. That's a beautiful car.

Well, one nice thing to keep in mind is that the standard of living in california is higher than other places in the country. So, moving there will get you a nice pay increase, but car prices stay the same!

Makes it much easier to afford cars that are harder to come by in other parts of the country.

Giving a kid <20 a 700hp car is a joke. I remember how I drove when I was that age, which was only 7 yrs ago, and i was a #%(&* head. So hopefully the friend of the OP is a responsible person, or may god watch over him as he wraps around that tree.

I believe you mean the pay is higher. Costs associated with living are also higher, which lowers the standard of living. Since car prices are fairly constant across the US, it would make vehicle price a lower percentage of overall income, but that does not equate to a higher standard of living. Just ask the folks in Compton.

You putting in forged pistons and rods because that is a lot of rwhp for a stock bottom end. Then there is the problem of getting it to the ground. Cradle, diff and UCA bushings? Trailing arms? Clutch? If you have all that you can run in the 10s with those power numbers.

442whp is a pretty stout number for a headers, CAI and tune too.

Yes, the pay is higher in order to keep the standard of living at its current level. No one goes to more expensive area to lose money. You expect a salary adjustment to maintain your standard of living.
