Interior packaging might help. But it's definitely a smaller car.

If those measurements are accurate then the image is very deceptive.

Agreed.

If only 58 mm shorter over all the rear end alone looks that by that image.

How about something similar to compare the "haunches"? I LOVE the quarter panels and how you get that flat surface that you can see in your mirrors too.

Does the 6 still have that kind of width back there or is it slimmed down to where we lose that?

Just another piece of context for its size ...

I did a quick compare of the 6th gen to the 5th & 1st gens, and it seems like the 6th approximately splits the difference between a 2014 and a 1969 in terms of length, width, and wheelbase.
