Running wheel spacers with factory 5 spoke

Hey all,

Searched my head off and couldn’t quite find the answer I was looking for. I have a 2016 2SS and I have mounted the factory alloy 5 spokes in place of the split 5s. Just personal preference- now, I know for anything under 25mm in the rear with the split 5s, stud trimming needs to be done in order for the wheel to sit flush on the spacer. I was looking at doing 20mm Eibach spacers, but don’t want to do any stud modifications if I can avoid it. Does anyone have any experience with this with the factory 5 spokes? It sounds like it should work, but wanted to see if anyone had some personal experience.

Thank you.

You'll need to get longer studs or you will not have enough turns on the Lug nut.

You will have to cut the stock lugs in order for it to fit. Just the portion that doesn't contain thread though.
