2016 Camaro coming to Dealers Fall 2015

I got an email Yesterday about the 2016 Camaro from Chevy and noticed at the bottom it said late Fall 2015. Is there a release date yet?

Well, when I ordered my 2013 ZL1 Vert, the ordering began 4-19-12 I believe, and production started early August, so.....

Production starting in late fall 'might' be possible for the 6th Gen.

Nice catch, I totally overlooked that on the email. Sounds right to me.

If they said Late Fall, more than likely don't expect it before November or early December.

Regular productions starts in October, so that makes sense. Previously a source familiar with the program told me on sale in Feb, but now we have it from the horses mouth.

That's what I was saying, October is not Late Fall. Fall starts late September....

5th and 6th Gen are being built at different plants.
So they could build the last 5th gen one day and the first 6th gen the next day.

Actually they could build both and overlap. But they won't.

They will build ahead and take orders to make sure Oshawa is busy but only until the Gen 6 is available.

Nothing beats a new launch like a bunch of heavily discounted previous year cars on the lot.

LOL, as of last week, GM had a 131 day supply of Camaros unsold. Put that on the calendar and see where you are.
