Any numbers on the Throttle Controller yet

Anyone have any numbers at the track or dyno using the Throttle Controller yet?

Still on the fence, want to see actual numbers

The throttle controller isn't supposed to impact max horsepower, so on a dyno graph, the curve will just be slightly different because of the power being delivered a little quicker. On the track you would definitely need to upgrade from stock tires to see a difference since a lot of people are slipping on launch with stock rubber on the quicker controller settings

This. It'd be best to have some thick tires so you avoid so much wheelspin. If you're running the pirelli stock 20's you should be good. However if you're running the stock 18" BF goodrich tires you're going to get A LOT of wheelspin on the highest setting (SP9)
Hope this helps.

I'm running the ZL1 set up on the rears....the 305's don't spin much...especially when warm.

YES,

I posted all my findings on the other thread.

http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...372526&page=48

Bottom line for me was I saw improved 0-60 times.

The 1/4 times not so much due to traction issues at the local track (normal) even with my drag radials.

There are no HP gains with this controller. But throttle response is greatly enhanced.

This thing makes your car respond so much better. Vitesse offers a satisfaction or your money back guarantee. My car has Borla exhaust, Ported TB, AIRAID, Solo HF Cats, and has never seen a DYNO. Most people won't get their cars DYNOed just because they have installed this, but I have not seen even one post that says,"I don't like it, I'm sending it back". Get one!

I installed this in my car and love it car responds so much better. What I don't understand is if your 0-60 times are better would't your 1/4 mile times also improve

I agree, but I am only reporting the facts as I have them.

3 runs (SP0, SP5, SP9) and each of the 0-60 times is better, however the 1/4 mile times were similiar.

I cna't explain it either, but it is what it is.

The throttle response is quicker which would increase launch to 60' mark, but without the increase in Hp/Tq, the gains at the end would be so miniscule you probably wouldn't notice it. (If that made any sense..)
I think you would see better gains on a road course than at the track.

I agree with that one. Now if I was only at a track that had good traction to see those improvemnts.

But if your 60 is .2 faster (hypothetically) that wouldn't translate to a faster 1/4 time? What??!?

maybe there is some confusion with the number 60?

My 0-60 mph times were quicker, however my 60' times were all similiar and so were my 1/4 mile times and speed.

So I conclude I was quick during the first 300 feet, but gained nothing overall in the 1/4.........
