I bought my car before the refresh came out. Sorry I don't have money to be trading my car every couple of years. but I will most likely be trading up for a 6th gen

But GM probably is taking the poll to heart and is changing stuff !
1. True styling is the production car rolling off the assembly line
2. The details the camo hides have a large impact on the final look of the car
3. Highly doubt GM is making any drastic styling changes at this point
4. Not sure what your problem is with the front of the car, it looks like it will be an evolution of the 2014+ front, much like the rest of the car will be

Oh , thanx! And well the Toyota squinting front never looked muscle car to me but it's cool because it looks more sportier and ppl like it, considering the sells figures! so this is the real front just details missing? The car is starting to blend in with other cars! The challenger and mustang is more noticeable now! There's barely any grill on the refresh! But it's not ugly just not what I would get over the others!

True! Of course there will still be the people who light their hair on fire and hope that a nuke is dropped on GM because, heaven forbid, it's not a complete departure from the 5th gen--which is arguably one of the most sexy, hot and aggressive designs put out for a Camaro. Yet a 3rd gen refresh will be the best thing since sliced bread and bring peace to the middle east.

It's going to look awesome, it's going to perform great, and it will sell. Not really seeing how the fuse-stang and challenger are any more exciting but opinions vary of course.

Well, would you pick the refresh if you're looking for a muscle car over the challenger and mustang in looks?

I wasn't particularly looking for a 3rd gen inspired 6th gen, its just the best rendering I've seen thus far. I agree with you about the early 5th gens, the pre 2014 models were beautiful. Everyone keeps saying its all in the details, and that's true to me. The refreshed 5th gen just got the details all wrong to me, making me not like a car that's 90% of a car that I really liked.

I agree with the guy above. Dodge took the same approach with the Challenger, and got the details all right. The front looks better, the rear was modernized while staying true to its look, and the interior is best of class in my opinion.

I'm hoping for something similar from Chevy. It seems like Chevy and Ford are trying to make the cars appeal to the whole world, which I totally understand, but are alienating their original base at the same time. If I wanted a sleek Euro inspired car, I would just buy a European make.

The standard Mustang employs the higher hood line needed to pass EU pedestrian impact standards. The GT350 won't be sold there. Lucky us!

I think GM, like Ford is playing the long game here, and it's smart. in the past cars underwent radical designs and often lost their core customer base or brand value.

The Mustang, and Camaro as icons are smart to tread the well worn path of the 911 and evolve addressing reviewer and customer issues while staying true to the brand and building heritage that has value for a future.

The Corvette, as a flagship and a car without direct competition has the advantage, if GM wishes to use it, of being able to pursue a design language based on the leading edge. In this case, Porsche's evolution of the 911, is a disadvantage, and Porsche would do well to create a new halo car. Of course, if the roomers of a mid-engined Corvette are true this time out, expect the Camaro to evolve and the Zora/Duntov car to be the design/engineering leader much like the Ford GT, being free to embrace a V6 rather than be locked to an old school V8.

The new Camaro, to me, looks much smaller. I'm sure the interior will be a big upgrade, but the general styling is a riff on the successful and much loved 5th ten. The difference will be in the details. I suspect the car will be more exciting that the camp mules lead us to believe.

I've heard that the GT350 will get an "active hood" to get around the EU regs.

I know they looked at it for the standard Mustang but decided cost, weight and complexity weren't worth it so the hood line was raised. If it does debut on the GT350, I'd say it would be 2nd year production, no earlier and that it might be delayed till the whole line gets a refresh and lower nose, but we'll see.

If you like the look of the Challenger and the Mustang so much better than the 5th Gen, why do you have Camaro?

Sounds like you made a mistake...and are now fantasizing about some crazy new design 6th gen which isn't going to happen.

The Challenger looks like the same Challenger from 70's. Not that it's bad looking but Dodge certainly isn't pushing the boundaries. If anything all 3 manufactures are doing the same thing, only doing slight refreshes. Sure I would like to see some more risks taking with design, but I like the looks of the 5th gen and I'm sure I'll like the 6th gen too. I see this more as a problem with current 5th gen owners trying to find a reason to justify getting a new car that doesn't look drastically different from their own.
