I bought a new stereo and upon hooking it up my subs no longer work because my amp isn't turning on. everything appears to be hooked up correctly, I had other people take a look at things for me and informed everything seems correct (they aren't certified, just car smart.) my fuses are fine, none are blown but yet suddenly my amp isn't turning on. I also multi-metered the amp and it is receiving the correct 12 voltage. I'm going to change the remote wire and hope it's as easy as that but I feel like it's going to be something simple or stupid that I'm just not realizing. everything was working perfectly fine before the stereo swap.. So before getting too into expensive fix attempts, I'm curious if anyone else has had this problem or may be able to guess what it might be.
