Anyone make clamp-on turn downs for factory NPP to pass sound?

Will be running some tracks with exhaust restrictions for the first time this year and was wondering if anyone makes clamp on 90* elbows that can direct sound away? Something that fits on the stock NPP

I have 2in catless headers that run to the stock NPP so it's loud but the tips are stock

Thanks!

Edit - it's a 103db day at NCM... Do I even need to worry ?

I custom made my set of pipes, they're not pretty but they work. Couple of elbows from AutoZone, some 1/8"x1" flat stock from the hardware store and some 3 inch u-bolt clamps.

If you search Laguna pipes on here you'll see some ideas. I don't have any pictures of mine, and they're currently on the car

I've never driven at Laguna Seca but this seems really silly to me lol. Why would they enforce a sound limit but at the same time let people do this. Doesnt make any logical sense. Makes about as much sense as the people that move near the track and then complain about sound.

It's all really dumb, unfortunately the track is amazing so ya kinda just deal with it. I only run the 103db days and still have to run the turnouts, I get flagged at about 103.6db usually so I run them at every track around here.

I unfortunately do not have pics... but there is actually a very simple temporary solution for this on our cars. And you just need to do the two pipes that 'bypass the muffler'.

But what we did at Solo Nats in 2021, was just ran to AutoZone, and bought 2 1/4" (maybe 2 1/2?) I think it was 2 1/4"... we then put them 'inside' the wide open taipipes (nothing over the tops of them) and used a self tapping screw... from beneath... to drill up through bottom of exhaust tip, and into the 2 1/4" insert.

Again, apologies we didn't take pics... but worked perfect, and once we were done, we removed them... and there was no sign, as there is a hole underneat the chrome tips for drainage anyways... looked factory.

Here's a random image of the exhaust turn down we inserted (you could always do 4 instead of 2 if you chose)

Best regards,
Dave

I don't get it either, this is basically making the car roar away from the microphones or SPL sensors, but it's just as loud. Maybe track officials don't like this regulation either and are actually happy to ride the fringes of this gray area

Anyone been there with catless x-pipe and 2in headers? Will I need laguna pipes?
