i agree. i've never used this term before and hate that i am using it now but "meh". granted, i wasn't expecting a Gallardo or something, but meh.
sure, it's got the latest in the tech, engine, hp off the lot, push button start, those drl's that zap your eyes if you look at them head on like all the new cars are getting now anyway, etc etc...... but, and maybe i am being sacrilegious here and this is only my opinion, but this is the very first picture that entered my head when i saw the blue..... Sorry, but I like my gen5 better as well.

I thought it looked fine from the limited stuff we had and I still do. Don't like the interior much and I'm hopeful that production models won't look so poorly fitted(seats). The outside looks fine though, albeit too much like a Mustang in ways, like the rear slope and fat front end and even the doors to an extent.
So far, I like the exterior of Camaro as much as Challenger or Mustang. |

Was never a naysayer , I do like the front , I do not like the back , Why they keep the 1 piece taillights blows me away ruins the whole back end for me ,Must of been the we will not change back complex of someone there ? Love the interior super sweet, Love the rims also, The hips not where I would of liked them , Disappointed that Gm has not put the twin turbo in the 6 cyl , Dont know what they are waiting on ? I also think 450 HP is good but honestly I was hoping for more .All in all great looking car , but doesnt want to make me rush out and buy a" For Sale "sign on my 5th gen .

I will admit it. I said not to judge until the reveal, over and over. But I secretly feared having to buy a s550 Mustang because it really is such a nice car. I got angry because why settle for a low torque 435hp v8 in a kinda heavy car that's already having issues with stock half shafts at near stock levels. Then to miss out on the absolutely fantastic 8l90, MRC and Alpha Chassis. It will need all the bolt ons to match a SS, stock. But they're so pretty on the inside, back and side. But those awful headlights and really the whole front clip is garbage.
Man was I legitimately torn. Thankfully GM delivered in spades. I like the Mustangs rear and sides but due to the front clip, Camaro wins. Really like the Mustang interior, but Chevy has the segment leader there for sure. THANK YOU TEAM CAMARO! This will be the first new car I buy. Finances will probably dictate a 2017 though. |

Add me to this list. I am reversing my comments from yesterday. The design was handled deftly. I especially like how they paid homage (whether intentional or not) to the '70 Torino GT with the use of their recessed window and c-pillar rake. I do not like, however, the busy trim detail up front and especially the oversized front air dam.
Overall I'd say that this is an exciting shape and I hope it will do well for the Camaro. Nothing IMO could top the 5th gen or any of the previous generations of Camaro, but I am hoping that this new shape will add another great chapter to the Camaro story.
