Blue seems to be selling well on the C7 vette.... I've seen more blue ones than red.

Blue just hasn't sold well. If it did, you would have seen more blue Camaros. GM is in business to make money, not blue cars.

That 90's blue metallic wouldn't be bad on the 5th gen. Certainly no more/less offensive than orange. I think that 90's blue looks pretty close to Aqua Blue Metallic.
How much can it possibly cost to change to a paint color like blue in the paint process even if the demand for something like ABM was low? |
