If you mean the best selling American V8 passenger car, than I will concede that's true.

I would hardly call the 3,900lb+ 5th gen Camaro a "sports car".
It's a Sports Sedan (Pontiac G8/SS Sedan) with a coupe profile.

The C5 and newer Corvette has been GM's only sports car since 2002.
I hope the 2016 Camaro picks up where the 1993 F-body left off.

Y body??? You know that is the designation for the corvettte chassis not the Camaro, right?
Educated car guy?

I guess you didn't see my avatar signature.

You show how pathetic you are when the only thing you challenge is my syntax.
I actually owned and built many Fox, Y, and F bodies over the last 25 years.
How about you, junior?

Okay seriously. There's no reason for the hostile attitude. Keep it up and you're not going to be here for much longer.

Second, your avatar and signature both don't show up. So...

I'm getting a little tired of your one-sided criticism.
I've only reacted to trolling from other people
If you're not going to accurately criticize, then don't.
In fact, save your criticism for someone who actually cares about your opinion and your 2003 GMC Envoy with cat-back exhaust.

RobC, its the internet, you need some thicker skin dude. Insulting people based on what they drive is childish. I feel like you are going to pop a gasket after reading your post's. Lighten up, you will live longer

@RobC

I usually don't even bother responding to something like this, but I've never seen someone with such a passive-aggressive attitude here, and you need to be called out on it. You've been here all of one month, and right out of the box you start talking down to people, (some of whom have been here much longer and earned respect along the way), with your self-proclaimed superior intellect. Then you insult and threaten people, and try to turn it around and play the victim. Is it any wonder you get hostile replies to *your* hostile remarks?

An AWD Camaro....hmmmm.....I think not, hope not....Plenty of other AWD cars out there....might as well just buy an Audi or something....

Rear wheel drive, American V-8, 2 door sports coupe...That's a Camaro...

GM sells plenty of 4WD trucks if you need to drive in the snow or whatever.

Why would I buy a second vehicle that's a piece of sh#t truck, when I could just buy a single vehicle solution?

Why is Audi, Porsche, Nissan, etc capable of offering a one vehicle solution, but GM refuses to do so?

Why would GM choose to give my business away to their import competitors when they could simply offer a performance all wheel drive option that they could sell me for increased sales and profitability?

And people wonder why our economy is circling the drain. Shaking my head.

No worries. GM will not get another DIME from me until they pull their head out of their ass and start competing head to head with their competition. That's saying alot considering I've been buying GM vehicles since 1993. The LAST car in GM's foreseeable future that makes any sense compared to the competition is a no-option 2016 Camaro 1SS. I am praying that GM get's that ONE car right, seeing that the C7, SS Sedan, ATS-V, and CTS-V have all failed my expectations.

And again, it's mentality like yours that is the reason our economy is circling the drain.

Give it a break, man. Keep your 40-90k and don't give it to GM. Go buy the competition! Sorry to break it down to you, but the market does not revolve around you.

You need to sit down, go through the list of GM vehicles that you would EVEN CONSIDER purchasing, and then let us know which "competitor" has AWD.

All you've done since you've been on this forum is dish out insults. I'm starting to doubt you've ever even owned a GM product.
