Good afternoon all!
Trying to figure out what to look into next for a DD. I want something to tow with and here's what I'm looking at: SUVs: TBSS Jeep SRT8 Trucks: Ford F-150 Raptor Newer Body Style Dodge Ram 1500 Not really sure what else there is for options to be honest... Any suggestions? |

If you can afford the Raptor, go for it. My neighbor has one and the thing is a beast. The TBSS and SRT8 probably will probably not work very well with towing as even my Dad's 5.3L Silverado didn't really like towing the Camaro to Texas. And well I don't really care for dodge.
Is there a reason for not considering a Silverado? During Truck month, you can get them for a great price. |

how much you plan on towing? if not a lot, maybe check out a new canyon or Colorado. probably be better for your daily driving gas mileage.

As for the silverado's, I like them.. to an extent. They look nice, have power but the build on the interiors seem cheap to me. I used my girlfriend's dad's GMC Denali 1500 to tow a bow and all the plastic pieces started shaking. That was an immediate turn off for me. I'm curious if the Raptor would tow well. Quote:
Gas mileage isn't a big deal as I'll be driving a shorter distance to work here soon. |
