ACS rocker Mod & install

Anyone have or know what the ACS rockers are made of?? (Fiberglass, plastic ETC) I have to cut it down to install cause of my splash guards. And I want to do it professionally, make it look perfect. ACS keeps avoiding the question. Two Emails and two dances. I haven't ordered it yet, otherwise I could figure it out.
Thanks

Following!

Wondering myself about possible cutting/shaping for fit & how that would go - I love their 6th gen side rockers and really want to get a set but I had my car ordered with the GM splash guards and would love to be able to keep them while also adding the ACS rockers. Don't know how possible that might be...

Its a RTM process thats like how you produce carbon fiber. But is usually used with fiberglass or some sort of fiber material with possible other material mixed in before the resin and mold process.. I noticed it was like fiberglass when the edges and corners cracked on my sideskirts on my 2013 camaro. Using the rtm process, it does make it stronger. Way better than just old school fiberglass.

There is not a doubt in my mind it CAN be done. I'm looking for a perfect result.
Instead of just making a template and cutting it down. I think capping the end that rests on the splash guard will look better. If I knew what epoxy to get (if I don't have it) I can get it ordered. So long story short, I'm cutting off the end and moving it back. Well, thats the plan. Like you, I believe W/the guards and rockers, it will look great, and protect the body better.

Thanks, I didn't see that when I searched. I have a two part epoxy that should be the cats ass. Will order side skirts Monday. Thanks again.

Finally ordered the ACS ZL1 48-4-039 rockers (primed)
I'll P/U more black metallic paint next. I think this with the splitter will really make it pop.

received my rockers, pretty nice. I ordered primed (all my accents are black metallic) Some crap in the primer and marks, but not a problem. I guess thats why you pay a lot more for gloss or matte. CONCERNS: wish the holes weren't drilled so big (see pic) The rocker has quite a radius and wide at bottom. Reconstruction it for a clean look isn't going to be a walk in the park. But what else was I doing? Can't drive it, so I'll work on it.

After much consideration, I believe I will cut/modify the GM splash guard, leaving the rocker untouched (except paint) Reason being rocker= $520.00, Splash guard= $120.00. If I ever change the look (something better might come along)
I can pass the rocker along to someone else.

Will do, Next step is prep and paint the ACS rockers. Mark were end of splash guards rest on the fender. Remove the GM splash guards. Install the rockers (easy so far) Make template (now it gets exciting..lol) the biggest and important step is: Cutting an opening in the splash guard with the angles and radius, so that the splash guard and rocker are (look) like one piece...lol. Sounds easy ..Right??? Of course pics to follow.
