Its time for a POLL...how do you feel about the 1SS price?

So...Lets get all of our feelings summed up with a nice POLL. I think it should be interesting.

I'm in the camp that I feel starting price is a bit too high. Maybe they should not have made the extra cooling, and the RS stuff standard in the SS....or other things.

I had a bit of sticker shock at first, but then I feel it is justified for what you get, and when you price out a 2015 with RS, and rear vision camera the increase in cost is under a grand.

What say you?

Considering keeping my Mustang, getting a 15 GT Premium PP for a good price with 0 percent financing, or still ponying up 42k for a 2SS with NPP. I think the Camaro is a better car, but for what I can get a 15 now for and financing, it's probably at least a 6k dollar difference. I know it's not fair to compare the deal on the 15, but just putting it out there.

Unfortunate because I do think the Camaro has better parts and major components, but they simply didn't package it well. Not all the gismos need to be in there. Mustang GT Premium with PP and 401 is 800 dollars less than SS, which is pretty comparable, but I don't care for the nannies.. Blind spot, etc.. Ford lets you get the car without them and still have a "premium" trim.

It's too high. I get that it comes with more stuff than the Mustang but how many people realize that instead of just looking at $$$. I won't get a base car anyways do I'm waiting to see what GM does with the 1LE. If they don't build one or it's not a big step up, I'll keep my 15.

Voting option 4 "Its too high, and I'm dissapointed, but I'll hold out longer to get it."

Because in 3 years, whoever paid for that optioned-out 2SS with a moon roof will be eating the sticker price while you enjoy a nearly brand-new car at 2/3 its original *base* MSRP, options not likely adding to resale value.

I voted its high but what you get is justified bc I feel that option is what I feel fits it best. I think the 1SS price is to high, bc IMO they put to many gadgets in it as standard equipment. It is better equipped than the mustang, so I expected it to cost more, but not by that much.

I am at the point in my life where if I got a car like a camaro or mustang again, I would get it as a fun car to have, so I could live with a lower end trim and in that regard the mustang present much more value to me. It presents even more value to me knowing that a Mustang GT premium costs almost the exact same as a 1SS

with all the standard features on the 16 that were options in 15 I had a feeling the price would not stay the same.

I feel starting price is high, but with what you get its justified

2016 1SS 1 $37,295 (everything I want included)

2015 1SS 1 LE with RS package $36,673

I will just go with the new one with more features

LoL ...... I'm so shocked that folks don't mind paying more and more for "stuff" ...... I guess I'm in the minority by not wanting to pay out to nose ....

If it came out as $29,995 I'm sure there would still be a lot of people complaining that its too high.
