I actually really like the front end and it's only a matter of time that companies start offering front end conversion kits. A cheap refresh for those that don't want to pay for a new car.

I'm guessing more people would swap out the Z28 tail lights for our lights.

It's not a new generation. It's a refresh. The whole structure of the car is exactly the same. They just changed the panels which are easily removable anyways. Fascias, hood and trunk lid. Everything else is the same.

Now whether they kept all the clips and mounting points in the same locations is another question. That will have to wait until someone can be the guinea pig.

It's not. Its the same exact body. If it was a different body, we would be posting on Camaro6 right now.

the only thing you cant change is the rear 1/4 panel, which means you cant have the rear end of the Z, but the hood and front end will be no problem changing out.

this is why the 2014 ZL1 will retain the same front end it currently has but will get the new rear end of the refresh. front end will be an easy swap.

Judging from the rear pictures, it looks like the rear would swap in fine too. The brake light fits along the same lines the current fascia does. The trunk lid would need to be changed though.

Maybe. For some reason i was thinking they cut into the fender for the lights. never did a side by side .
