I’d love to get some sort of guard on the front of my ZL1 1LE. I don’t parallel park anywhere but I’d like to be prepared in case I’m forced to.

Upon closer inspection it appears to be the radiator that is causing that lighter grey area. I looked at the pictures for so long that I started imagining things hahahaha. Either way, the car looks amazing dude. These last set of pictures look great. Nice job, I wish you lived near me. I’d love to do this to mine and learn at the same time.

I disassembled the front bumper entirely. it was a pain and there are a LOT of clips, but its worth it. for the weather stripping it isn't horrible. crack the door open a little or roll the window down and it makes the weather stripping pretty pliable. also I used these tools...one to slide in the gap and pull the trim a little, and another softer version of this tool to tuck it down in there. the only part that was remotely tough (and still wasnt horrible) was at the very front of the door as you are tucking the vinyl in between the trim. on the door side trim, there is a star bit that you can take off at the back of the door and tilt the trim up, lay the vinyl, and then just push the trim back down and bolt it back up.

here is the front of the grill where I did an inlay. MIGHT not have needed it, but you cant see it and helped me not over stretch the material. I stripped the front bumper, threw a couple bolts in it and put it on the car to stretch the vinyl to the car. then once I was ready to trim, I pulled the bolts and put the bumper on a stand to tuck and post heat. the tape is used because the vinyl doesn't stick to it and that just makes everything easier. on every panel I put tape on the opposite panels....it is surprisingly useful
