Help! Trying to purchase a 2ss

Hey guys,

So I need some advice, I'm looking to purchase a 2ss. I have found 2 that I really like a silver ice metallic priced at a sale price of 40,995(original price 48,790) and a nightfall grey metallic priced at a sale price of 40,695(original price 43,895). I've been negotiating with both dealers and qualify for the chevy loyalty program as well. I'm aiming for 37k with a 2k down payment. I do own a '16 RS and was able to get that with 0% APR so my question is do you guys think Chevy is going to offer the 0% APR again anytime soon? I really don't want to be paying a high interest rate since I am used to the 0%. If anybody knows of any other options I can go with or just general advice on the subject I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

Cannot say for certain but they (GM) usually will throw out really good incentives the weekends around Labor Day, on the prior year's model to make room for the new inventory ..... ie 2017s in this case. Not sure if the 0% financing will be one of the offers but would tend to think there is a good chance due to the Camaro sales numbers this year.

Good luck !

If you take the 0 percent, you're not going to get the car for 8k off. You'll have to run numbers to see which one would save you more money.

Take the discount and find a credit union to give you 2% or less

Not true just depends on the time. My 14 Impala I purchased I got 0% for 72 months no payments for 90 days and all discounts plus Supplier Pricing.

I'm not sure which discounts you're referring to. Fact is you're not getting all discounts when you take 0 percent financing.

0% for 72 Months, no payments for 90-days, GMS, and $3000 in rebates ($1500 and $1500) August 2014 on a 2014 (Left over 2014 models).

Also GM had the same deal back earlier this deal on left over 2016 Suburbans 0/72, plus rebates. Missed out on a left over 16 Suburban LTZ sticker 72k, marked down to $45k.

Interesting! Hopefully they do bring out the 0 for 72 months on the camaros for labor day. Really hoping to pull the trigger on one before the end of the year. I've been negotiating with the dealer and they told me if the silver 2ss is still there for another month they can go a bit lower. I'm crossing my fingers!
