Bumper Question

First of all, I am not certain where to post this so the DIY seems like the place

I had a woman rear end my Camaro... the bumper cover was damaged. I have located a used but pristine cover locally. The only issue I have is that it does not have the back up sensor holes in it.

Since it needs to be resprayed anyway, can the hole be cut into it?

My body guy is away for the holiday but I'd like to let the seller know whether or not I want the cover or not ASAP so any input would be most welcome!

Thanks.

IMO it is not the cutting it is the mounting of the sensors, see GM reinforces the holes with the mount for the sensors, and that will not be able to install them on the bumper.

Okay, how detrimental will it be to simply not mount the sensors? Does it impact resale value very much?

I hate to pass on this one.

I live by my sensors and would look for a proper replacement cover.

Okay, I told the seller I was going to pass, but I am still not quite ready to let this go. Can someone tell me how the back-up sensors mount? I really want to jump on this cover if I can use it.

Thanks!
