Thank goodness for that. I was afraid they'd use poly-unsaturated complex carbo-hydrated colors....

Ok we've seen the exterior enough at this point. What about the interior? No pics have been seen on that yet and we're in NYAS time now. Come on....

I have to agree, for the big 50th milestone, they should have gone many extra miles. Provide extra value and make it extra special.

Since the released photo does say "Preproduction model shown. Actual production model may vary. Available Summer 2016" maybe GM will monitor this forum, listen to the feedback (good and not so good), and make ANY necessary adjustments before the FINAL PRODUCTION vehicle gets released.

Underwhelming, for sure. I'm beginning to wonder how healthy it's going to be for Chevy and their dealers having all these low volume Camaro SKUs. People better get their HO V8s SOON because we know they will be going away.

Haven't we seen enough " special editions" that have no gain in performance?

You'll very rarely, if ever, see a "special edition" that upgrades performance in any way. Too expensive for the manufacturer to make sense of it, which means it'll be too expensive for us to justify buying.

30th anniversary LT4 SS .
2013 Laguna Seca Mustang.
C6 Grand Sport Corvette .

They can be done and they should be done . Putting 21" wheels on a car and naming it after a toy doesn't make it special either .

In your opinion...with respect.

To be clear though, the Boss Laguna Seca and the C6 Grand Sport weren't "special editions". The Corvette was a regular production model, and the Mustang was a limited-number regular production model. Each sold thousands and were priced accordingly.

All 2017s will actually be a 50th Anniversary car....

Option it how you want and then admire the "Fifty" on the steering wheel...Problem solved!
