In Need of GM Executive Referral (GEX) Code

It may be a long shot, but if you have one and don't mind, I could sure use it.

Please PM me.

I was about to ask the same thing..

If your asking about a Supplier Discount I heard you can get them from being a Costco member and I think there are a few other options

If you asking about a GMS number for GM family members. You have to have a relative that you meet the relationship requirements.

That the only ones I know about.

There is a "coupon" that executives are given periodically. If i recall they had 2 per month to hand out. It offers employee pricing. But from what Becky has told me, employee pricing does not apply for the "tag" pricing. So if you can get the 20% off, that's apparently the better deal.

Not sure when the last time they've had the referrals.

I know Chrysler has something like that. Never heard of it at GM though.

My memory is 5 a year, otherwise what Number3 posted. Was more common before the expansion of both GMS (employee) and GSU (supplier) programs. These are executives (14th floor in the old days) and per my memory above the Plant Manager level.

It has been a long time since I have seen a post about this.

You have your acronyms backwards

Employee = GSM or on my build sheet it was listed as GMS
Supplier = GSU

My uncle retired from GM, I used his employee discount a few times

This is the way it was described to me. My dealer indicated they still exist and have done a few very recently.

Thanks Memphis. Fixed the post. Sometimes posting w/o proofreading does not work.

The advantage of the executive discount is it is not limited as to who can use it like the employee discount is.

I have a family member that got me a GEX code as he works for GM. It's the same as GMS pricing. I believe it has to be a conquest thing though, as in your current car isn't GM.
