Does the Interior Spectrum LEDs Seperate from the door trim?

Hello fellow Camaros,

I have a 2018 SS with the Interior Spectrum Lighting and I want to wrap my interior pieces. I want to wrap my door trim with the LED strip but does anyone know if the strip separates from the door trim so I can wrap it decently? The GM catalog shows them as two separate pieces but as one part number. I don't want to take it apart if it won't come apart.
Also has anyone successfully detached the chrome piece in cup holder lighting from underneath the center console? I had no luck.

I understand the trim comes off the door, I'm just wondering if the lights themselves seperate from the cover piece.

The light pipe itself does not separate from the silver trim piece. I installed the Dark structura version in my car.
