I’m already doing it. I’ve hit a snag with ACS Composite sending the wrong grille and not being able to source an installer for the diveplanes.

I've done the wing, there are photos posted and a video of the install. I did the wing because I like the look, and felt the stock spoiler wasn't enough of a statement for the ZL1 (the low-rise version might have been perfect). I'm pretty satisfied with that one major change and see no reason to pursue more aeros from the 1LE. It wouldn't take long before you could easily just trade your ZL1 for a ZL1 1LE if you add up the cost of parts. I'd consider some CF rockers if they were extremely well made, maybe even a front chin spoiler... but not looking for any more 1LE parts.

What about just skinning the parts with CF so the spoiler, hood insert, splitter, side skirts matched the rear valance would be difficult since it's got channels. I didn't look all thay hard to do.

I have a lot of experience doing that.. I fly rc jets they cone made of foam and we use a similar process.

How hard would it be to have a ZL1 1LE, remove the front canards and substitute the lights from a regular ZL1?

By the time you take a ZL1 to a 1LE minus the canards but with the 19" rims and tires, you have more money into the ZL1 than if you started with a ZL1 1LE.. right?

It would be great if GM made the canards optional for the 1LE. It's a better looking car without IMO.

GM removed the lower DRL’s because they weigh almost 8 pounds and are redundant to the headlight mounted drl’s. I want all the weight I can shaved off the front.

Lol, well yeah they took out like every other single piece of unnecessary hardware and trim and used carbon fiber for some body panels, so I guess they can afford an extra 8 pounds up front...
