What is everyone doing for a cell phone mount?

I had been using this mount (http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B007FH...f=ya_aw_oh_pit) with my Galaxy S III in my other car, but in the Camaro, mounting it on the dashboard blocks too much of the narrow windshield. Just wondering what everyone is doing for a phone mount that lets you use your phone as a gps, etc, while plugged in.

I use a grip n go that I modded to hold the weight of my Galaxy Note. I will eventually get a RAM motorcycle mount that will allow me to attach the mount to mirror stalk. Don't have pics of it but can this afternoon. The RAM will also be powered so I won't have cables going across my dash.

Nothing. I couldn't hear anyone over my exhaust anyhow so... No use for a phone in the car.

I use a ProClip console mount. Really nice, nicest mount I've owned in any vehicles.

Does your loud exhaust prohibit you from using your phone's GPS capability?

The link below is a search link so let me know if it does not work. Otherwise it is proclipusa.com

http://www.proclipusa.com/?sectionpa...d=16015&dtype=

I'll be honest, I am still not completely used to it, and don't really like things "hanging" from my dash, but it works. The aforementioned RAM Mounts are solid though. I had one for my motorcycle for a GPS unit, and one for my ATV and as far as construction quality goes, it doesn't get much better.

Also mentioned above is the Proclip console mount...May switch to that if I do not get used to the one on my dash.

I am hoping I can come up with something simpler than hard wiring it up by the mirror. Not familiar with the grip and go, where did you mount it?

Just underneath the mirror. It suction cups to the windshield, and I have a rubber wrist band to help support the weight of the phone from the mount to the mirror stalk. Works great, but I want something more permanent and factory looking.
