Growing to like Chevys

Hello all!

I wanted to introduce myself, since I will probably post here often.

I recently began a new job at the Chevy dealership close to my house. I applied to become a service technician, but there were no positions available so I chose the next best thing... Sales!

Now I am a super-powered sales person working in the showroom, looking down on everyone else who works in the back, because I have tasted the Kool-Aid and believe I am better than everyone... LOL, I'm joking... sort of.

Anyway, I do not own a Camaro currently, but in the month I have been here, I've had the privilege of "Product Training" on the different Camaros on the lot and I have grown fond of them. I have a 2003 CTS that has similar features so it feels natural too me.

My master-plan was to use my employee discount, to get a Shelby GT350, as I work for All Star Auto group in Louisiana, I can buy almost any new brand of vehicle, except Hondas and Premium brands. It has been hard resisting the Camaro, especially when my Sales Manager informs me that I can buy a 2017 ZL1 10 Speed at the same price as the Shelby.

Anyway, to sum up that wall of text, I am looking forward to being part of the community, maybe even as a owner!

Welcome aboard it's always awesome to have more knowledge spread around! Maybe you can offer insights to those of us who don't work at a Chevy dealership and possibly help some of us who've have issues with our dealerships get some quality care and service through yours! Irregardless I can't speak for a ZL1 but I know my 2LT has never failed to bring a smile to my face and I can only imagine that quantified in such a beauty, hopefully your brain makes the right choice! *hint hint* :P

Congrats and good luck in sales. Kidding aside, don't look down on those in "the back".
They can be your best friends and allies. They can help you satisfy your customers especially those you want to keep. Have fun and enjoy your new Camaro! (I'm an ex Mustang owner) Wouldn't trade back.

Congrats and welcome! If i were you, go for the ZL1!
If you decide to get the Shelby, well, as with any Ford you had better buy some comfy shoes for all the walking you will be doing!! Hah!

Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5/6. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wives', husbands, girlfriends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!
