My crude stopwatch shows roughly 6.6 seconds in the 1/8, the car also seems to be named appropriate as the it sounds like the hounds of hell are unleashed at full throttle

What an idea. It maybe have been thought about and did not work, but run cool air from the A/C into the intake to burn, by flipping a switch.

I haven't seen confirmation on how it works, but it sounds like they put an A/C evaporator in the intake tract to act as an intercooler. In drag mode it diverts the refrigerant from the interior HVAC to the intake.

Think this will explain it. Apparently it has been available on the aftermarket for 5th gen ZL1s (and other applications). This is just the first use on a factory car.

Ford was very close to releasing it about 12 years ago...I forget what they called it, but I believe it was for a next generation F150 lightning that never happened.

That 757 has got to mean something now as it's been on the last few ads. I know it most likely points to hp, but even a base hp level of 757 (since they supposedly have different tunes for fuel) is a little disappointing imo. I wonder if 815 has an significance too since both were on that clip of the dash....with both times being out of order too (last 7.57, best 8.15)
