Oil Catch Can
I am new to the forum (greeting to all) having recently purchased a new Camaro SS here in Dubai. I have ordered a few things including Rotofab CAI with the sound delete and the Mishimoto oil catch can. My question is how I should clean the intake once I have the catch can. Likely I will have 2,000km on the clock by the time it arrives.

Take off the filter and blow it off with a pressurize air.
Catch can - unscrew and dump the oil and reinstall. |

I wouldn't worry about cleaning your intake manifold with that low of miles.

One of the benefits (there are few IMO) of the DI LT1 motor is how easy the intake manifold is to remove. I agree with Wolvie70 (don't think you need to worry with so few Kms), but it's very nice to know that you can pull it fast later and look at the actual intake valve condition. You can clean them up with a little patience and time too...

That low of miles, I wouldn't worry you should be fine.
