2018 ZL1 A10
Tires used on the pass: Stock Goodyear Performance Mods (if any): None Category submitted for: #7 - Camaro 2017+ LT4 ZL1 Bone Stock R/T.......... .396 60'............. 2.058 330'........... 5.223 660'........... 7.725 660’ mph... 97.21 1000'.......... 9.840 1320'.......... 11.644 1320’ mph… 122.10 Name of the track: Orlando Speed World Date of pass: Friday, December 22, 2017, 8:23 PM Weather conditions: From Drag Times, used 7:53 PM, Temp 69.1F, 87% Humidity, 717 ft DA, 97.92% RD This was my third run on the car after driving from Knoxville to Orlando earlier that day. Other than lowering the rear tires to 22 PSI and a half-tank of gas, it was totally stock. I bought the car from Becky D the day before, followed the break-in procedures on the way south, and put a little under 1,500 miles on it in two days. When I got to Orlando, I tossed the bags in the hotel room and arrived at the track when they opened the gates. We won’t discuss the first two runs and I hope there are no videos. I was only able to get three runs because every time the fast cars ran, two or three would oil or water down the lanes – once all the way to the finish line. They brought the lanes back as fast as they could, but it was an hour and a half wait between my second and final run. By that time, there were about 100 cars backed up. I was dozing off in the lanes and it was time to get some rest. There is way, way more in the car. I’ll find out how much as soon as I can get back to the track and learn how to make it work. Man 51 is great with 100 DA. I'd take that any day, I guess I just live in the wrong state to run in December. Our tracks have been closed for 45 days. Congrats again.

Thanks buddy. You are welcome to come down any time you want. My buddy rented the track the following day and their high DA was -2,000 DA. Oh what a difference a day makes.

One more thing the car above is bome stock convertible SS on stock tires
Left off idle on above pass using stab and steer in sport mode Next time out I might use stab, steer amd shift method Since the paddles might improve 0-60 times Using launch control on another pass did net me a best 60 ft of 1.8 in my convertible on stock run flats but et was 2nd best of the night at 12.3 Last edited by Tenfive; 01-06-2018 at 05:23 AM. |
