that was probably the black one that went 12.44@119 on a 2.294

Exciting we are starting to see what these cars can do in the real world in hands of real customers. Dynos are pretty useless for anything other than tuning, and a lot of misinformed people claiming these cars put out more than they're rated as if that is even possible under SAE rating requirements. Nice to see these trap speeds start coming in, hopefully the bench racing will start to die down as real world results start coming in.

In mineshaft DA
Stock camaro ss has gone 119 as well...

Even in good air 119 is telling the gt is making some power no doubt.

Still would be nice to have more than hearsay. Are they talking about this on that "other" forum?

The '18 5.0 does not show it's SAE Certified in their website.

A new dyno posted yesterday showed 425 rwhp SAE from an '18 5.0 10A.

It shows SAE net which is the same procedure just not 3rd party witnessed. We’ll see in the future if it is certified. Not many 18s at all listed yet

What kind of numbers did you expect in New Jersey in November ?

On Carlyle dyno it’s making 10 rwhp less than the Camaro. Is the new mustang over rated ?

Lol! There is a new thread over at the Mustang 6g Forums talking about another high reading dyno saying the car is underrated and actually making 500 hp.

If you can't trap high at atco in the fall, you aren't making power. 119 is impressive but I trapped 116 bone stock in 85 degree weather in south ga. The cars are quick but I think the Ford boys are getting a little ahead of themselves. Hell they put on a drag pack, ran the gas low, took out the passenger and rear seats and ran 11.8..lol

I'm not seeing what the big fuss is over the Mustang. It has not done anything special for it's weight and claimed hp numbers. Yet every time these trolls see something they start posting it. It's like cheering on an adult who can tie his shoes. I mean, unless he had some severe limitation then there is nothing to cheer about...on the other hand, the GT has been lame for 3 model years now so maybe this actually is something for them to cheer about. I mean, all the crap they're doing to it and then bragging about it, you can do the same thing in literally any other performance car out there. It's like bragging that the car has a steering wheel and a set of brakes.

That made me laugh. I saw on the 6th gen Facebook group that a guy ran his stock camaro vs an 18 mustang gt and got him by a car every race.
