Ported Intake Manifold and Spacers

I have heard good things about the Iceloator spacer. I used to have one but was tossed when I had to replace the engine. I honestly didn't notice power gains with it, but wanted to hear from others if anyone has had noticeable power increase with the intake manifold spacer.

I'm also looking into a ported intake manifold and a plenum spacer, so if anyone has experience with these parts, please chime in!

Also, who is still selling ported intake manifolds right now?

I believe I liked the 3/8" spacer I had. More power in the mid to upper range room I believe ....the plenum spacer helped with acceleration.

For the intake manifold I would pm jacfab. He ported a LFX Manifold for me.

I have a ported intake manifold and the ICEOLATER. I like how the mid-range was much improved with this combination.

Awesome, Iv heard good opinion on that combo, but mixed reviews regarding the plenum spacer. I'm also wondering if I would have hood clearance issues with both spacers and an engine cover

I have the Iceolator & do feel it produced good gains. I did add the Apex Washer bottle relocation & scoop at the same time so cannot separate the gains from the 2 things. I did not do the porting on the manifold (just personal preference). I had heard the plenum spacer made minimal difference so did not do that one either but many seem to like it.

Thanks for the info. Curious, what makes you not want to port the manifold?

Where did you get your manifold ported?

I'm really having a hard time finding a new intake manifold for sale or finding it on GM parts websites. I would like to buy a new stock one (partially because the old one is kind of dirty) so I can either send it off to get it ported by somebody or try my hand at a DIY job without having to worry about messing up my daily driver or be without it while waiting for the porting to be done.

So many people on here have ported intake manifolds and swear by them but I can't seem to find where anybody gets them.

UPDATE:

Ok I found one.

I have the Iceolator, it made a noticeable difference. The main thing is keeping the manifold cool, which it does extremely well. After driving I can set my hand on it, and it's not really hot at all.
