Ah, thanks for noticing! It was through some trial and error but simple after I got the external mic $30 bucks and cable $11 bucks. I just routed the cable through the truck and used 3M clip thinging to mount the mic on the bumber right next to the license plate. A key final touch was to cover the mic with some foam. I used the foam from one of those foam paint brushes my wife had lying around. The trail and error came from were to put the mic, any lower and closer to the tail pipe and the sound would get disorted and of course figuring out to use the foam.
Also, if your using a GoPro, the mic is mono, so don't waste money on an expensive stereo mic.
