Old new guy
Good morning from frozen north Florida. I am not a 6th gen owner (yet), but I will be soon, I hope. Just sold my 2000 Camaro SS with 191k on the odometer and am missing my F-body. I have owned six Camaro since my first one in 1980. I have been searching locally for a low mileage 2016 or 2017, or even a new 2017, but the A8 “Chevy shake” has me concerned. Has anyone had this issue with a 2018? Just wondering if the issue has been resolved. TIA and I hope to be another happy owner.

Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5/6. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wives', husbands, girlfriends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.
oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here. Welcome!!

You won't regret it. The new SS is a beast compared to the old...and the ride is much better at that....

Well, it took a bit longer than I expected, but I finally found one. 2018 1SS, HBM, A8, NPP, 56K. Permanent-grin installed.

Very nice set of wheels my friend! Like you I am also a chartered member of the "Old Guys" gang! Like DD's in the morning too! But... I have a deep running passion for cars and have owned some heart stopping beauties in my day. I have a 2014 Camaro my very first Camaro but truly love the girl, just turned 14K.
Today I took a picture of her along side an F4B that displays the VMCJ-2 "Playboys" call letters. Stationed at Cherry Point, NC as a young Marine I worked on the A4 Skyhawks, the F4Bs were next door to us. They were loud!
