Who Purchased a ZL1 and Added Dive Planes, Wing, etc?
We are seriously thinking of buying a 2017-18 ZL1 and adding the ZL1-1LE carbon fiber Wing and Dive Planes. Has anyone does this? Can you tell us your experiences, costs involved?
Thanks in Advance. Last edited by Miss Delgado; 12-12-2017 at 07:34 PM. |

For the diveplanes, you’ll need a template to make the cutouts in the front fascia and a DREMEL. It’s not as scary as it sounds. Some members on this forum have the template and would probably send it to you. I will look around for mine if I still have it. Maybe someone else, the yellow ZL1 guy can chime in... |

I just did mine a few weeks ago and absolutely love it! Cost was around 5k. I purchased all the parts and had my local Chevy dealer install all the front end parts, but I did the wing swap.

But, has anyone installed the APR front splitter with the 1LE dive planes and wing is the real question.

I did it, it's around $5k by the time you add in paint, but the majority of the cost is the wing. We're making a similar carbon wing that will be a lot less and we're offering with two stand heights for moderate (half height) and aggressive (AKA the OEM)
