"UPDATE' 😁 Do you get both sets of rims from dealer?

Just wanted to let everyone know and thanks for all your help. My dealer did the research they had to do and where told that the customer does receive both sets of wheels. I picked them up last night and I am looking forward to using them for winter driving. After hearing all the phone calls and different departments they called maybe GM should make a better effort on educating all its dealers on these LPO items.

. I just bought a new 2016 ss Camaro. it has the optional black wheels with red stripe. it was a 1900.00 dollar dealer installed item. do you also get the factory stock silver ones with this purchase? I'm asking because on the 5th gen you did get both if you got the optional 21 inch wheels.
thanks. And with the winter coming it would make a great setup with snow tires.

Did you guys get them? or is what your saying just what you heard? I'm actually looking for real fact/proof here. I'm going to ask the dealer and need some facts, if any to back up my beliefs. I did mention it to them earlier, they said they where not sure. so if anybody has paperwork or real world experience i would love that. thanks in advance

I do not own a 6th-gen, but I remember Becky (Rodgers Chevrolet) stating that owners who opt for the dealer installed wheels should receive both sets.

Do a live chat with Chevy from their site...ask the ?, save the chat session and take it to dealer.

Hi. This past Fall I bought a 2016 2SS Convertible. It came with the dealer installed "Polished Forged Wheels" They were a $2,995 option. I got both sets of wheels. I assume the same would apply to your vehicle.

I learned this from my Harley days. If you don't say you want your take-off parts they keep and resell them.

Its odd that you'd have to ask for your own stuff, especially when it has a fair amount of value and isn't a repair, but apparently that is how it is.
