Would You?
i have a 2014 LS that I've put a lot of money into but, would you go down to a 2011 2SS to have the V8? It only has 12k on the odometer. I have 5700 on mine. Payments bout the same, car looks like new. Would you?

Depends on what I wanted the car for. If the SS is a daily driver no, I wouldn't. My LT fit what I wanted it for. A very cool daily driver which fit my budget and lifestyle. If the SS for carshows/garage kept summer fun only, then I would go V8. Owning money on a 2011 is not something I'm personally not ok with tho.
At the end of the day, what fits your lifestyle is what you should do. Don't buy a car just to buy it. It has to fit your life. |

I would say that the 2011 got beat to hell, so NO, I personally wouldn't do it, but do what your heart tells you to do. Just be prepared for some repairs when you buy someone elses problems...

Doesn't make a lot of sense if you've put a lot of money in your 6. Unless you can transfer all that over. But a car that's 3 years older and has double the miles doesn't sound like an upgrade to me.

I say go for it. 12k miles is nothing. If the car looks good, it was probably well taken care of and not driven much. You'll enjoy the V8 and, at the end of the day, the SS is a more desirable car. Go get you some of that.

It's only for the V8. I miss the power I had in my 11 I used to have. Regardless tomorrow I do one or the other. Yes I think about the loss of what I've put into but riding hogs my whole life I know that you lose on accessories on anything We will see

I couldn't do it, personally. Giving up a 14+ model for a 10-13 is blasphemous. But, that's your choice. I don't think having a V8 is worth that aesthetic cost. Personally, I'd wait a while, save up and get a 6th gen SS before I'd downgrade to the 10-13's.
