Contemplating taking the F1FTY to a car show this weekend. However the main event is a "drifting" and drag show (the 1/4 mile kind). While I'm pretty sure there'll be other types of cars at this show I'm a little hesitant. I've only ever gone to one other show that I wasn't just a spectator. Feel a little silly asking the question here but I figured, what the heck.

Thoughts?

Do it! Even if you don't place it will be fun.

I use to take my 5th gen to car shows. Even though I didn't ever place in anything it was always fun and met some great people.

A couple shots from the Rodgers Chevrolet Camaro-fest on Saturday. Cool event. There were three other Fifty cars there. Two other convertibles and a coupe. The coupe had ground effects, one of the convertibles had a wind screen.

Al Oppenheiser and Jim Kalahar were there and signed a lot of cars. I had them sign my strut towers. Seemed weird, because until a couple months ago I worked right near those guys.

My car is in the center here

The coupe and one of the other two verts that was there. The vert had a windscreen and a glow tie. Coupe had ground effects.

This is a 45th Anniversary Vert, parked across from me

Do they make a smoked brake light? I purchased the tail lights.

Here are photos showing the Oracle lighting had done on FIFTY this last weekend...the looks on faces of other drivers on my way home with running them in amber was just wonderful!

Awesome Pics! I had to decide between this or CamaroFest, going to Fest. Hoping to be there next year for 10th Anniversary show.

They do but it hasn't been released yet. It's coming standard on the ZL1 1LE. Thatgmpartsguy is taking preorders for it on his site. We don't have a hard date set yet.

Ran into a Fifty SS on routes 78 and 287 in Jersey today during my early morning commute. First time I saw another 50 on the road and it gave me a chance to see just how damn cool these cars look in action.

To my fellow Fifty owner, if you're on this forum your car looks and sounds awesome from all angles! It was a pleasure sharing the road with you for a while in my Fifty RS. We were getting some looks especially from the orange Stang on 287. I tried to acknowledge your parting revs but with the 6cyl it was useless.

Thanks Adam. That's been kinda my thought as well. It's somewhat a unique car and would probably be worth looking at.

Well, my mileage hit the "magic number". Sorry for the poor pic, but the roof was down, the sun was bright, and I had to make an "emergency" exit off the Expressway and into a boat Marina to get this shot.......It only happens once.......
