Unhappy 2SS vs 1SS lease

I went to ted britt chevy in fairfax VA and they quoted me $621 a month to lease a 2SS (44k MRSP) , they said the reason why it was that high it was because the MF was around 0.002.. something. Now im considering a 1SS (I'd really miss the trim lighthing though). I was thinking of a high 400s and low 500s for someone with my credit score (821) but it was not the case with the 2SS. Is there any major difference between them in terms of leasing?

Is this for a 36 month lease? Edmunds forums show .00119 money factor and 57% residual for 36 month.

Honestly you are better off buying the car.... these cars don't lease well.. here look at this quick math...

IF YOU WERE TO BUY

$44,000 / 72 months = $611 / month ..

LEASE

$621 x 39 months = $24,219 .. what's your buyout after the lease? add that to the price of lease .. figure out which make sense...

Those lease terms do not sound competitive for a 2SS:

39 month lease, 0.002 MF sounds a bit ridiculous for a SS. The salesman told me that buying the 2SS is a better option because nobody lease those. Not sure if it is true or not. But also the 1SS is much cheaper compared to the 2SS.

Seems high since you can lease a Hellcat for less per month.

I was thinking about leasing vs. buying. How much would the car be worth trading it in, in 3 years? I wouldn’t sell the car privately. Also I know we get raped trading into the dealership

Why the desire to buy new? You can get a 2016 used 2SS with less than 10,000 miles for around 30K. Save the 14K right from the start.

I was quoted 7-900 a month for a lease, and that was without running my credit. It was insane. That was right after their manager told me I could lease one for less than the payments on a 2016 1SS I was looking at. Since I already had my financing, I knew my payments at lots of different prices.

Suffice to say I did not lease.

What's wrong with yellow? Jk. Yellow turns heads every time.

To each their own, but I can’t understand 6 or 7 year loan..or payments over $450...for a car. It just seems like a heavy financial burden (unless it can be written off)
