Interior accent packages for 2017?
What are the chances of a Green color option for the interior like they did synergy green for the exteriors on the 2011? I'm torn as to what color I'll get if there's no green lol.

That's a good idea I'm sure they will have additional options after the initial entry.

Its was really disappointing for me when I reallized the adrenaline red interior is not available with hyper blue exterior.now I will have to choose between my favorite ext with black interior or red ext with my favorite interior.why GM always give great surprises and ruin them.just like when revealed the z28 and everyone was planning on buying them but when they saw the price tags had a small heart attack and bought c7

I know on the Vettes they allow you to do a color override for an extra cost. Maybe they'll wise up and offer that pretty quickly.

Color over ride is unlikely for Camaro.
I would say never happen, but in our world where all things are possible, who knows. So I will rest on unlikely. But if it does come to Camaro, be prepared for much dealer resistance as well as a high non-returnable deposit. Laborsmith |

How come? Serious question, not really sure what triggers it aside from GM doesn't like those color combinations, but you can pay to play. |

I can not point to a specific item therefore my answer may not be credible, but here goes. My memory is Chevy attempted to drop the over ride, I think with the pending release of the C6. So if it came to Camaro, there it would stay. That is one element of my answer.
As to dealer resistance, many buyers do not know their non refundable deposits are in fact always refunded if a buyer changes their mind. Dealers know GM has tested these combinations and the exclusions are founded on the results of these tests. If they have a unit with limited appeal in stock it will be difficult to move it if the original buyer takes a pass. Indeed, even accepted combinations have some such that have limited appeal and a dealer knows they have done something GM does not like when the difficult (not over ride) to move units are pushed their way. Not that many use the Corvette over ride and Chevy recognizes there are potential customers who feel paying $70K or $90K or more should allow some version of "uniqueness" and for several hundred dollars allows that feeling to go forward. From GM management point of view if you want color over ride and are willing to go 90 yard you can get it: just order a Corvette. Laborsmith |

Haha fair enough! Thanks for the insight.
Obviously these color combinations would be hard to move if a buyer backed out. Chalk me up to one of those buyers that didn't know their non-refundable deposit could be refunded! Can't believe the "superman" combo isn't available. |

I can believe it was debated. Hey maize and blue runs thru the veins of bunches of GM engineers and a dash of red would do much to spice things up.
Full disclosure: I am a UM undergraduate and graduate alumnus. GO BLUE! Laborsmith |
