DanaM and SuperSound thanks for the responses. Just trying to get a feel for what I might encounter with mods towards a new car.

That's what I'm hoping. GM did something similar with the old LNF 2.0T.
If they did a factory warrantied dealer installed tune for LTG Camaros they'd rake in cash.

just posted this in another thread but its all relevant here. only going to be a matter of time before the 4 cyl Camaros are at this level. 11 seconds from a 4 cylinder with a bigger turbo, heat exchanger, wheels and tires and some other stuff.

12.15 12.06 11.80 I've already picked up an LTG turbo, looking to see what I can do with it. Changed a few wheels on some Subaru turbos with a little machining with good luck, hopefully this thing won't be any different. As soon as I can GET a 6th gen down pipe from the parts dept, you can bet I'll have one here so I can make a jig in a heartbeat. |

When will I be able to order? I'd like to hear the 2.0T sound, inside cabin and outside rev. Any sound clips available now?

Not untill January. I too am in line for the LTG. ZZP already has cams, and a tune for it.

I am very interested to see how the aftermarket comes to the LTG. I can tell you firsthand it is every bit as fast as my old LT1. A little modification and it will be hunting in stock LS1 territory which is perfect for a DD.

If I were GM, I wouldn't even offer a powertrain warranty on the LTG since most will be voiding it anyway with tunes and increasing boost.
