I got the rubber cargo mat that says CAMARO on it -- it was the only way to ensure if anything spilled in the trunk i could contain it. So far, so good.

That's not a 10' 2x12...

Yep. I'm a coupe guy myself, but this one is a beauty!

I tell you, for those on the fence and have never owned a convertible, I never considered one but my Dad suggested I had to own a convertible at least once in my life. Then I was on a mission and bought my '01 SS Vert. -- absolutely loved it ever since. So those who have not yet made the plunge, try it, and thank me later.

If they had made a 1LE Vert, I may have bought one. The last Vert that I had was an orange modded '72 Vette with a 454, 4 speed, and glass packs. That car was a blast with the top down!

Blue top for the vert! What colors will that go with? Only one I can think of it white but that would be very classy!

Someone earlier suggested silver with a blue top. That may work. Would have to see one.

So are T-tops permanently retired by GM?

Could never do a vert but would love some. Just my luck when I buy a 6th gen they will release T-tops the next year.

Forget about them. They are gone.

I'm not a huge fan of the design as a whole.

Some angles it looks great, other angles it does not. While the side looks fantastic with the lines the rear then becomes boring.

Unless the interior is a total disaster it is what we are getting. The Mustang just missed the mark on interior quality although we are going to check out a '16 when they come in most but with it likely to be identical the interior killed it.

We cross shopped a lot of different cars including the m235 and Z4. The Z4 is dead next year and also was getting up there in years. I loved the 235 coupe, I almost bought one over my S4 but did not need another 2 seater.

The new TT will not arrive until early next year but the Audi dealer near us is taking orders starting in 2 weeks. No TTS model in the convertible for '16 which was a bummer.

The MB is very long in the tooth and we did not even bother to look at it. This will be a summer car for my wife and wasn't going to invest in a 8 year old design.

From a value standpoint nothing will beat the Camaro. MRC and a few other premium options that is has over the Mustang will set it apart design none withstanding. The 6.2 vs 5.0 is another bonus, but the Mustang we feel looks much better on the outside.

The price difference between the 235 and the Camaro will buy a super charger and some other things which will put it performance wise far ahead of anything else we could have bought with the money.
